Steve, I've had an idea for a couple of months. Not too sure how good it is. Utility trailers. Build them and sell them. Around here (northern New Mexico) tandem axle 16ish x 7ish are selling for 1500-1800$ used ones for a grand. some places in Texas are selling them for 650-750$ if you buy three or more, and you have to go get them yourself. I figure if you got a medium duty welder(mig) 500 to 800$ new (less for used) and a saw that'll cut 2 to 4in box tube or pipe 1 to 200$. All Plans and hardware you get from northern hydro, and steel, locally, OR!!! scrap. Sell each one for 1000$ new. 500$ ish proffit. Thrifty nickelize for about a 100 mile area and deliver. If you sell one, and the guy likes it(good quality, price, delivery) he's gonna tell a friend or two.. If the stars are lined up right, you got yourself a small business, or buisness whichever you prefer. Best of luck to you whatever you decide to do and wish me luck. Paul Vance...Sarafina New Mexico
