If the pump pulley wobbles, the fan blades will too. Not sure, but just a smidged of wobble might be acceptable (not sure how tight those bearings are suppose to be when normal). If it is obviously got some free play in it, it is likely to much and probably needs some attention. That could very well cause problem, and might expain why just a couple blades hit, and hit in various places. I do know when I reassembled my H, I had to monkey with the pipe with a hose on each end of it a little to get it positioned just right, and my pulley was alright. If your water pump pulley is alright and you are experiencing the baldes hitting in one place, you might double check the info in my first post. I wish you lived next door, I would just put my shoes on and come over. Take a look and say, "yep that's your problem". Sometimes a look is worth 1000 words. I hope you get it figured out.
