Got the starter to turn the motor over. Tried to pull start it today, and it started, ran for a couple of minutes, then croaked out when my dad tried to pull it out of a driveway in low gear. Pull started it again, ran same amount of time, then died. After it died the second time, it overheated, had a small leak on one hose, but fixed that. My dad adjusted the timing on it. Tried it again, nothing. Adjusted it again, ran for 30 seconds, then died. I adjusted it, ran for about 1 minute then choked out. What steps should I do to get her running long enough so I can set the valves? What does the book recommend the valves be set at. I have set the valves at 12 thousandths when cold, and then when it was heated up, but not running on both times. Any help on a list of steps will be greatly appreciated Thanks!!
