Hello and thanks for the replies. Both the pto's on the tractor my dad bought and the parts one look Identical from the outside. They have a castiron lever that is connected to a shaft that goes into the side of the pto housing along the top edge. They have 4 bolts in the corners and 2 smaller bolts on the left and right sides. There is no little cylinder thing alongside the pto housing. And lastly we are mounting a New Idea 2 row,8roll bed picker. I think 305 front and 307 back? Something like that, the picker is like new, always shedded. We took it off a D17 gas. The allis did a good job, but just sit too low in it. The 560 should be better. Dad thought about a M farmall, but everyone around here wants more than he got the 560 for, and no live pto, no live hydraulics, no power steering, and no hi-lo. So he went this way.
