I'd suggest you do the changeout of the PTO units.
You can do this in a 'flash'. Also, I'd absolutely buy the lift. It will probably not only add more value to your tractor than what he's asking, but I'd think without it, you could have real problems finding anyone interested in your 560. You've already purchased it at a bargain, and the extra $$$ will still have it being a bargain.
On the PTO, if the assembly has a small cylinder looking device along the side, as part of the engage lever, I think that is the old style.
