I agree with the couple of re-posts that suggested blocking rear of trailor while loading or unloading. This should be a common practice for all. I have started doing it myself after seeing a few incidents almost turn bad. I seen a guy unloading a backhoe off of a trailor. The truck and trailor were on a slope heading uphill. When the backhoe neared the rear of the trailor, it lifted the rear end of the truck off the ground. The truck, trailor, and unsecured backhoe started rolling downhill. It turned out O.K. but was scary to watch and could of turned out bad. Also, if you have a habbit of starting a tractor while standing beside it, or in front of it when hand cranking, always double check to make sure it is in neutral. That almost got me in trouble while starting an H on steel while standing beside it. Got out of the way just in the nick of time. I always left the tractor in nuetrol when I parked it. I didn't check it and forgot that somebody else had driven it last and parked it. They left it in gear.
