Blade for an H loader

My dad has a blade, about 7' wide by 3' high, that bolts to the front of the IH channel type loader in place of the bucket. Does anyone know if IH ever offered such a critter? My guess is it's homemade. It's too heavy to really be of any use. The back end of the tractor gets so light you can't back away from the snow pile ... even with double weights and chains.
