I looked at thr Super M

I went by and looked at the tractor. The block had 264 cast into it. The ID tag said MD serial # FDBK 1859XX. The man said it used to have a small tank but he took that off and just runs it on gas. It started well and ran well, all 5 gears were there and no noise. There were some minor wiring problems, I suppose whoever installed the alternator didn't wire it right. It was missing the radiater cap and throttle spring. behind the bell housing was a large housing open on the bottem. He said originally there was some kind pump for cultivating. I didn't see any hydraulics. OK guys what is ? Is it worth the effort. I/ve always wanted a M. Thanks Fred
