Most of you know I would like to start a corn picking business (using red machines) for my FFA SAE (supervised agricultural expirence). I'm at the point where its crap or get off the pot. The question I want to ask: For ALL of you, whether or not you pick corn, would you consider hiring someone to pick your corn? That could include assistance in the field, assistance hauling loads, or anything else someone would hire a helping hand for harvesting time. I know of a couple people who prefer picking but either hire out combining or had to get a combine for other reasons. Thanks all for your input.
