Personally, I love our 25 foot flatbed gooseneck trailer with side rails added on. We even pull it with our 82 Dodge 3/4 ton with 318 and 4 speed. It handles it OK, but nothing too fast. Now, when we hook up the 98 Cummins then we just fly down the road. We haul 14 bales on ours which comes out to about 18,000 lbs. It is a Titan trailer. You pretty much need to have 2 loader tractors though with this setup. We also have an old stackmover we put a bale rack on and haul 14 bales with behind the tractor. Takes a pretty good sized tractor too. We used to have a hayrack on our farm truck and hauled 9 bales on there, but broke a lot of springs.
