Are you talking about small square bales? If you are, you can easily travel 10 miles with a standard hayrack. Last summer I was baling hay for a guy who had to travel through town and about 7 miles on the other side. Just make sure you have a good solid rack and someone stacking who knows what they are doing. I stacked the racks 7 layers high, and one had eight just to finish up the field.
