Fred, I will attempt to clarify it for you. The W series tractors were not Farmalls. All Farmalls were row crop tractors. The W series tractors were all standard type tractors, sometimes called wheel tractors in some areas. They were named McCormick Deering and then later McCormick, and in the late 50's to International but never Farmall. The O series tractors were standard type orchard tractors with streamlined sheet metal and fenders for use in orchards. They were also named McCormick Deering , McCormick, or International, but never Farmall. The I series tractors were standard industrial tractors and were always named International. Now for basic sizes. The Farmall H, Mccormic Deering/International W-4, McCormick Deering/International O-4, and International I-4 all used the same engine and were the same basic size. The Farmall M, McCormick Deering/International W-6, McCormick Deering/International O-6, and the International I-6 all used the same engine and were the same basic size. The McCormick Deering W-9 and the International I-9 were larger tractors and did not have a Farmall equivilent. These and later tractor with size equivilent; Farmall row crop type International standard type F-H W-4 F-M W-6 W-9 (no Farmall equivlent) F-SH SW-4 F-SM SW-6 W-9S (no Farmall equivilent) F-300 I-300 Utility F-400 I-400 I-600 (no Farmall equvilent) F-350 I-350 Utility F-450 I-450 I-650 (no Farmall equvilent) F-460 I-460 F-560 I-560 I-660 (no Farmall equvilent) F-706 I-706 F-806 I-806 F-1206 (no International equvilent) Hope this helps, Harold H
