I made mine out of 3/8"x1 1/2" flat stock drop it down a little befor you drill the mounting holes ...so you can get #1 spark plug out....use a streaght edge to align the pullys and make your bracket long enought to catch both ends of the alt.use around head bolt ,then grind it as flat as you can afford too....the drive belt will rub the 6" mounting bolt (put this bolt in from the front, with alt.,befor bolting to the block, when using a 1 1/2" pully. Measure your old bracket to get the distance from block to alt.bolt hole mount ......very impornte, not much room under there......be sure to change the alt pully to 1 1/2" or 2"......tractor engine runs to slow ,won't turn the stock alt. pully fast enough...........bend up a old auto adj. bracket for the top....I made my adjuster using a 1/4" turnbuckel...put a 1/4 - 20 jam nut on the right side............
