Believe i would stay with 6v. If everything is up to spec. should start 20 below or 110 in the shade. Onthe other hand the 8v would crank faster. I have used an 8v for 5 years on my m and it is still going strong. I use the tractor such short runs that i have to charge battery once in while but works great. Any place that sells batteries would have a good one.Try farm supply store if you have one close. Have a blessed day.
