Farm Auction in Southern Ontario /Farmall H WFE

I went to a farm auction near here today as there was a Farmall H and a wide front end advertised. The H was good in every sense of the word, an older restoration, new tires, complete and ran well but no fenders or auxilairy tank..went for $3350! I couldn't believe it, it was not the correct red colour and would need to be painted and have new decals on top of that. It had a liftall but no 3 point.There were still 5 guys bidding on it at $2000! The wide front went for $450 and I believe it was an I-H front..both items much higher than I would have paid. It wasn't all a lost day I bought a 6' water trough like new for $60 and a good cattle oiler for $25, an electric fencer for$6, a pair of fence pliers and 4 draw pins for $17..still smarting over that H, I thought I was going to buy it for about $1500....go figure!
