RJ, The International 2656 was the industrial version of the International 656. It was basicly a I 656 with standard yellow color (any color could be special ordered), different grille, different front axle (HD, adjustable or fixed available), industrial multi rib front tires and grader tread type rear tires standard (regular and several other tires optional), and a few options not normally found on I 656 (shuttle transmission available, gauge vandal locking covers, different hydraulic options, are a few that come to mind). If hydrostatic I believe it was available with either hand or foot control whereas the I 656 had only hand control if I remember right. Others may remember some other diferences. Harold H
