That 706 should be worth from $1500 to $2500. There's nothing wrong with the 263 gas motor. You can buy alot of extra gas, points, condensers, and spark plugs for what it will cost to go through an injection pump and injectors! The 282 diesel motor was a good motor for an early diesel, but it has the glow plugs, another expense.I would say that mine goes through 6 gal. of gas an hour, when I'm working it. On the planter or baler, about 1/2 of that. Fix the 706 up!
