Need help on fuel system on IH 1486

I was ploughing with my 1486 today and believe I'd run it out of diesel. Big mistake! After refilling it, it won't crank now. So I opened the vent on the final filter and tried to see if I was getting fuel down to it, nothing. So out of frustration, I took off both filters (primary and final) to see if I had fuel coming to them and I don't. What else should I check or try at this time? I'm hoping it's not my fuel injector pump, but wanted to eliminate all other possibilities before investigating this. I'm really anxious to get this going, since I'm trying to get in my spring crops. Thanks in advance for any help.
