i reread my suggestion and realized that i missed a step and probably wasn't as thorough as i should have been. after step 3 i should have said to be sure to put the control lever in neutral(shutting the tractor off wouldn't be a bad idea either). i had my setup in mind where i wouldn't be near the cylinders when i run the contols but brent makes a very good point on safety. there is no reason that you need to be near the cylinder when you bleed it. it's not necessary to bleed the system like you would bleed the brakes on a car where you have to capture the pressure. also with the control, the idea is to move fluid by "bumping" it, not to build up pressure. not only is there a danger of a high pressure leak but there is also a loose fitting that could be blown out of the cylinder. hope this helps.
