My Super M has started a tapping sound during the last month. The noise seems to come from the upper part of the engine, so I think it's a valve problem. When I started it a few day ago at low idle, the oil pressure didn't build up right away (maybe a heartbeat or two) and the tapping was very noticable. After running for about 5 minutes the tapping just about dissappeared. But, when the engine is being worked (disking) the tapping is there. What do I need to do? Take off the valve cover and look? Add something to the oil? Thanks!
