As you already suggest, there were two basic styles of PTOs in the 460/560s. The planetary type, like in the 300/350, 400/450, and the clutch style. Later clutch style units had a big hex nut on top of them and could be adjusted on the tractor. Earlier clutch style units didn't have the access hole and had to be removed from the tractor to be adjusted. My family has three 460s, one has the early style PTO and the other two have both versions of the clutch style.
