560G Spark Plug Fouling

I have a 560G with a dealer-rebuilt engine. Everything works well, except the spark plugs foul if the weather is cool or cold. If I use the choke at all to help start, it seems that the rough running never goes away, and there is a noticable power loss. I will then find gas in the oil, and it takes 6 new plugs and an oil change to correct the problem. I know that there are electronic ignition kits available ($100.00), but does anyone have experiance with these, or this problem?
