On a 460 the gear shaft lever is in a tower that can be removed wtih three 3/8 bolts, remove them and remove the tower, I think you will see the end of the shaft lever warn bad and that will let the lever drop a fork before the gear is clear out and move another in gear. Use a screw driver and line up the notchs in the forks and put the tower back on. and make sure you shaft slow untill you get it home then you can remove lever again and weld up the end and grind it back down like it should be should look like a ball front to back and flat on both sides just wide enough to fit fork.You will need to adjust the clutch and TA linkage if it has a TA if not adjusted right they will hang in gear and shaft hard.
