I priced a rental F250 PSD to haul a one-ton D-15 900 miles in late December from the Dallas/Ft.Worth rental stores....very expensive, something around $75/day and 45 cents a mile. Clearly priced for urban day use only, nobody could afford a long road trip. Made the trip okay with our retired F150 inline 6. White knuckles all the way. Trailer brakes needed whatever your rig.
