Renting a vehicle for Hauling an 826?

I'm thinking about buying an 826, but would have to haul it about 1200 miles. I have a 1995 F250 3/4 ton, 4x4, 460 gas and a tandem axle skid steer trailer (I don't know if it has brakes or not; doubt it). I am definately concerned about the tractor being wider than the trailer. I don't know the trailer's capacity either. Now, I have been thinking: I know a agri-store nearby that rents trailers that would haul such a machine, so there is nearly no doubt in my mind I will rent one, but is there a place I could rent a truck? Ideal: F350 or 3500 Dodge, etc. with diesel engine and dually. Is there a place where I could rent such a thing? I wouldn't mind taking the F250 to start, just i would have to cross the Appalachian Mountains and would like something a little better suited. Any suggestions? Thanks guys.
