Jim, I would start at the outlet of the fuel bowl, unscrew it and see that fuel is flowing freely from there. Next unscrew the inlet at the carb and check for good flow there, and then the same for the carb drain plug. With it undone fuel should flow strongly and not reduce in flow, if it does check your needle and seat. Most of these carbs have a small filter screen incorporated in the inlet of the carb, check that too. I'd be screwing the main mixture screw out two full turns from fully closed as a starting point for mixture adjustment. Hope this is some help, Regards, Redfan.
