Been a long time to remember if SMTA has inspection plate under main clutch. but what I always did if there is a inspection plate under the clutch. Put a spacer under the heel of the pressure plate finger to hold some of the spring pressure put the pressure plate and the drive member on the input shaft of the TA put tractor back togeather then bolt the pressure plate to the flywheel through the inspection hole. This is the way to do all the tractors with the hyd TA so the input shaft does not get pushed pack in to the TA which can happen quite easily on 706 806 ETC.
