While putting my SMTA back together, after I had it split for TA work, I had a little trougle getting the splines lined up at the flywheel/clutch, I had some longer bolts drawing it in and I was turning the flywheel with a prybar. I was getting some resistance when all the sudden there was a popping sound and it pulled right together. I assumed that the splines were binding then they released. The problem is the clutch would not disengage when I got it running. I just got it split again this evening. Anyone out there ever had this happen? Any thoughts what to look for? So far I have not seen anything that looks abnormal, although I haven't taken the pressure plate loose. Any input would be welcomed. Thanks! Ernie Bob
