Super H Belt Drive Lubrication

The belt drive drum on my Super H has a pipe plug on the top of the cast gear box. This is a indication to me that some kind of lubricant goes in it. My first question is: Am I correct? If so, what kind of lubricant(gear lub) and how much? If not, does this belt drive drum get it's lubrication from the rest of the gear box?

I have the original maintenance manual and lubricating this belt drive gear box is not addressed.
