trans level hole on Cub

Im draining the trans in my 48 cub. Im not sure where the level plug is . The manual says on the side, bt the only one I se on the side(and it , I thionk< is ab out in the right highth), is a bolt that goes through a hole in the floor pan into the trans case. Is that it? Let me know. Thanks. Bill
