The level plug is on the left side between the fender. It is kind of small and is a square head. Fill till it runs out with 90 wt., but first, I would flush with kerosene to get the 50 years of crud out. Fill it with kerosene, drive it around and drain it out. Then fill with the 90 wt. No, it will not hurt your transmission or seals.
