Thanks Bob M (& others) for the advice. I obtained a 4 position switch to keep the wiring the same. The problem I have now is that the generator is not registering a charge on the amp gauge. I turn the lights on and it discharges to minus 10 amps. I turn them off and its back to zero. I did mix the ignition switch wire with the wire from the generator (working too fast). Could this have done anything? I quit for the night, but plan to test the generator to see what it is producing tomorrow. I cannot believe the generator would just stop working by replacing a switch?? Also, I should mention I believe I have a voltage regulator. It is a box that looks like a regulator with three terminals coming off of it. It is mounted on top of the generator. Any advice would be apprieciated. Thanks
