Steve: From what you describe this is not a whole lot different from SA, on the lubrication end anyhow. I have never had anything to do with the A though. The SA has a slinger type of a pump that puts oil up there from transmission to the pulley gear box. There is an overflow that lets it run back. That devise is suposed to keep oil up to the level of that over flow. Any tractor that hasn't had pto and belt pulley used for awhile should have this cleaned. It must work well my SA has been on there for 50 years. I haven't used the pulley in awhile but the pto gets used quite regularly,
