how to time a Farmall A

ok I need to know how to set the timing on a 1940 Farmall A. It has the Mag in it.
When I was going to set the valves I never found the mark on the fly wheel for TDC can any one help me? I know that youget it at TDC then turn the mag til it sets the impulse coupler and it clicks. Is this right? It was easy on the Cub becasue it has the TDC pointer. since there is not starter on this tractor does that make a difference on where the TDC is on the fly wheel?
