I realize that trade in values of tractors differ depending on what is "hot" at the time. Years ago I had a Farmall C that I was looking to trade toward a Long only to have a salesperson tell me that I would wind up "giving" my tractor to them...that it had no real value to him. Right now I have a "restored" Super C (1997) as well as a Super H work tractor. (I have dealt with tractors enough to know what the collector value of these are). Both are strong runners and start up WITH no difficulty. I inherited tons of implements and horsedrawn iron and was looking to trade it all toward a new John Deere. Just today I went to another dealership only to get a similar response Regardless of what others say, I feel that these tractors are classics. I don't understand where these people are coming from. (I traded a 9N last year with no problem..) I could see this response if I was asking for the moon, but I was trading toward a utility tractor....What kind of world are we living in???
