As to the electrical problem, pull a spark plug out & hold that connected plug with "insulated" pliers against paint free spot on the block, have someone crank engine & look for a spark. If there is a fat spark across plug, reinstall. Also look at plug condition, if they are wet with fuel change them & change all fuel in tank. Weak or no spark, check points, they in distributor cap. Points should be gapped about .015-.017 when open, & must not be burned on contacts. Points OK then try a new coil. If those dont work you have a short in the wiring. as to the oil leak i believe there was a copper washer under the bolt head. You can try a steel washer with a rubber O-ring under it to seal the leak, these should be available at your local hardware store for less than a dollar total. My 2cents worth, Good Luck.
