Gary,I've been trying to restore my 52 Super C,which was about like the one you described. The motor will cost about 800 to 1000 to rebuild(doing most of it by yourself),the tires will cost probley another 500 to 750(depending where you buy your tires),that cost involves two matching rear tires. If the grill needs replaced, that can run about 250.All this may sound downhearting but you will have a good tractor.I have put nearly 1300 in my Super C and tried to find all the corner cutting cost I had avaible to me.Personally,I wouldn't give over 500 for you tractor and then it would have to be in good shape, tin wise and all there .I may sound like a tight wad but when they sell for 2000 to 2500(newly painted)I try to get the best deal. This is my opinion.
