Sounds like the other guys have pretty well covered your electrical problem. On that oil leak at the top of the filter can, I often use a drain plug gasket out of the assortment. (Napa or Carqust) They are cheap and seal the top of the can well. They never have included the gasket in the filter kit, dont know why.
