Thanks for the info. No front end loader. I feel sure the sprag clutch is slipping and will need to be repaired. However, we are reluctant to repair the sprag until we solve the foaming problem. Will the pressure testing procedure listed in the ITT manual provide an accurate analysis if the oil is foaming? How do we determine the cause of oil foaming? When we split the tractor, we would like to remove the TA and use only the mechanical clutch. Years ago, our 1066's were constantly having TA problems. The IH dealer removed the TA's and put in some sort of a direct drive kit. Are you familiar with this?
