No such thing as a dumb question here. Anyway, I can answer your baler question. First, do not even look for an IH 45, and if you ever see one, run, that model was a lemon. With 30 horsepower, you can handle most small square balers, as long as they don't have a thrower, and you wouln't be pulling a hay rack behind the baler (Super C isn't heavy enough and doesn't have enough brakes). Look for something like a New Holland 273, those aren't too old and can be bought pretty cheap.
