farming with a super c questions (long)

I have had a super c that we restored a few years ago and is pretty powerful since I had maybe too much of a hot rod background before I became a tractor mechanic. Last year it got just shy of 30 horse on a M&W pto dyno at work. Anyway I have a 6 foot land pride finish mower that I have used a lot with no problem at all and I just got a IH fast hitch 2 bottom plow with a tail wheel that will arrive tomorrow. 1 question I have concerns that. It is missing the coulters. I am kinda unsure as to what their purpose are and was wondering If I really need them. I know where I can get a pair if I need. I have a original IH sales brocurefrom 1954 titled farmall super c with fast hitch and it says the hitch is free floating side to side, diagonaly and up and down. The up and down and diagonal part has me confused. How does that work? I can't see it or am missing something. I can understand how the side to side works since I set it up for that for the mower sometimes. Usualy it is locked solid though with the pins. also there is a long shaft from the rockshaft on the left side to the bracket above the left axle that allows you to tilt the hitch side to side. I am missing that part and can't find one anywhere on the net. Can anyone help with finding one?
I am also looking for a recomendation on a baler to use with it. My book says a no 45 or 55 IH baler is fine for it but where do you find one that works? Is there another newer one out there that is equal size?
Sorry if these sound like dumb questions but I am kinda new to tractor farming (used to draft animals) and I am trying to get off to a good start without overworking my tractor. We will only be farming 20 acres and grazing the rest so I don't think it is too much for a super c. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
