Hugh--------- Thanks, a million for all your checking. That's a good start. I might try to find the book that you were referring to. I need a good I-H referrence. Hugh, I'm not a professional farmer. I call this a pitman. It's the same idea as an old J-D Big 4 mower that we had when I was a kid. Exactly, what IS a ballanced head mower and how does it differ from pitman. I may as well admit my ignorance now. Perhaps I mistook what I have in my discription to you. Care to give me one more come back? Thanks again,
