If you converted an original IH or rebuit CaseIH compressor to R134 the seal will not last. You can buy a brand new compressor good for either type of freon for a little over $120 from Badger Truck and Refridgeration in Eau Claire, Wi (800)-873-6811. We converted one on our 186 Hydro and it leaked and the next one leaked even quicker and then we bought the new one (which is brand new and only a few dollars more) and had no trouble since. Our neighbor had the same experience on a 886 with R12. I don't know how a new one can be so cheap compared to a rebuilt or like one friend says - repaint.
