Is it possible that the 4 way remote is worn this whole system never did nhave a filter on it. but you say that you installed 2 valves one for the remote and one for the fast hitch/This would mean that the remote/fasthitch would have its own relief valve. then the liftall lever would not make any difference. it should be in neutral or in lower position.In the raised position it would heat up the oil because there is no place for the oil to go( again this is only if you donot have th original 4way lever on the side.
