You've got it. You are looking at the right tag, and you have the right model year. When your tractor was new and the tag wasn't faded, it had "Model- International 350 Utility" painted on, followed by the stamped "D", designating that it is equipped with the optional diesel engine. Below that was painted "Serial Number", followed by the stamped 3081 and the suffix "S", meaning that the tractor was equipped with the optional Torque Amplifier. All of the painted stuff has faded away. Don't go by what's in the registry, anyone can put anything they want in there, even if it is not correct. If you order books calling it a 1957 International 350 Utility Diesel, you will get the right stuff.
