Hugh,
The IT service manual says "International 350 Diesel Utility Tractor Operators Manual" on the front. It's a newer one by Case IH. Inside the front cover it talks a lot about the Wheatland. Next page says "suppliment to Operators manual I350 Wheatland Special Tracors"
I doubt it is a wheatland since it doesn't have the aux gas tank (I don't think). I don't really know what a fixed drawbar would look like compared to what is out there. Believe it or not, every time I try to really check the tractor over...it starts raining! Go inside, it quits raining and the sun comes out. Go figure.
I'm thinking they just added these pages in the regular manual.
The fuel filters aren't spin on. :(
I do wonder too about the ground on it. I thought it was supposed to have a positive ground, but it isn't. 12 volt too. The lights and all don't work, but the wires need replacing on some of them. Hope someone didn't switch it to negative ground and blow the electrical away!
Not complaining about spending money on it. I WANT to. I'm a bit obsessed with this tractor and want to get this and that for it. Re do all of the wiring, hydraulic hoses and stuff like that. Not necessary, but I want to. The only real problem I see is the leak in the hydraulics for the 3 pt. That's number one on my list to fix. The clutch is a little stiff for me, but I can handle that. The guy I bought it from said it sticks in 1st if there's a load on it. Shifts, but really hard. My guess is it needs lubed and adjusted. Hopefully that will take care of that.
Plus, hubby said I need ot put fenders on it. Personally, I like it the way it is, but he's afraid I'll fall off and get caught under the wheels. Not like I'm gonna baahaa with it.
One thing I did find out is there is a Case IH dealer about 10 minutes away..YIPPY!!!!
With the identification of the engine, I was hoping there were some details of the 193 continental so I could say yes, that is what this is. Then again, why would someone change it, right?
Thanks again, Hugh!

Diana
