You sure are right about all those wires. If I am not mistaken, the fuse is in the lighting circut, and a key switch problem wouldn't cause it to blow, right? I looked at the fuse real quick after the fire, and it didn't appear to be blown, but I'll go hit it with the multimeter once just to be sure. Are you sure your problem wasn't a bad wire for the bulbs that light up that guage?
