JK MN: Ok.. With that said, what would you guess could be the cause of just third gear in a "C" to make it whine.. no click or clunk type noise but the whine is extra loud. This is a real low serial numbered one.. since its only 3ed it would have to be related to just the two (3ed) gears and a support bearing?? No spider or ring\pinion etc?? Is ther a way to seperate out the various noise as where it comming from with out taking it apart? What cha think? Thanks.. harvey...any one else?
