I have a 684 that I have had hydraulic problems for some time. I put in a new pump about two years ago, cleaned the Multiple control valve a couple of times since then. The power steering has always been slugish (any suggestions concerning this would be welcome). Lately I have had a problem with the tractor going into gear. The following seems to happen once the tractor get hot. Say I'm shifting from forward to reverse at high RPM, once I shift and let go of the clutch the tractor will start to move and stop, or sometime it will not move at all. At one time I could lower RPM to idle and it would take off. After a while it stops altogether. It will not work in Hi or low gears or different gears. Typically I can let it idle for a while and it will begin to shift again. Any suggestions on what could be the problem?
