Farmer Gene, It is a Case/IH gauge, dealer replacement for my cold/run/hot. I was wondering if it was reading correctly, but was a bit slow on coming up with a test. I'll sneak the candy thermometer out this evening (and wash it well before putting it back). I was also thinking of pulling the thermostat and running it to see the difference, but the thermometer will be quick and easy. The radiator is clean on the outside and the fan is pulling air through well. Divide and conquer! Thanks - Sam C.
